그분은 우리의 필요를 공급하실 것임

 

 

우리는 충성된 천사들과 불충성한 천사들 간의 싸움,

즉 보이지 않는 존재들 간의 대쟁투에 대하여 이해해야 할 만큼 이해하지 못하고 있다.

 

모든 사람에게서 선과 악의 천사들은 싸우고 있다.

이것은 사상적인 쟁투가 아니다. 우리가 참여하고 있는 것은 가짜 전투가 아니다.

우리는 가장 권세 있는 상대들을 만나지 않으면 안 되며,

어느 편이 이길 것인가를 결정하는 것은 우리에게 달려 있다.

 

우리는 초기 제자들이 저희의 능력을 발견했던 그 곳에서 우리의 능력을 찾아야만 한다.

 

“더불어 마음을 같이하여 전혀 기도에 힘쓰니라”,

“홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람같은 소리가 있어 저희 앉은 온 집에 가득하며”,

“저희가 다 성령의 충만함을 받고”(행 1:14. 2:2, 4).

 

배반하거나 낙담하는 일에 대한 핑계가 있을 수 없는데, 이는

의에 주리고 목마른 자들에게 하늘로부터 모든 은혜의 약속들이 주어져 있기 때문이다.

주리고 목말라 하며 간절히 사모하는 태도는 넘치게 공급받을것에 대한 보증이다.

 

우리가 하나님의 사업을 행하기에 무능함을 깨닫고 하나님의 지혜의 인도함을 받고자 순복하면

그 즉시 주님께서는 우리와 함께 일하실 수 있으시다.

만일, 우리가 자신의 심령을 비운다면 주님께서 우리의 모든 필요를 공급하여 주실 것이다.

그대의 마음과 의지를 성령께서 역사하실 수 있는 곳에 두라.

왜냐하면, 그분께서는 다른 사람의 마음과 양심을 통하여 그대에게 역사하지 않으실 것이기 때문이다.

지혜를 얻기 위하여 열렬히 기도하며 하나님의 말씀을 연구하라.

성화된 이성의 권고를 따르며 하나님께 전적으로 순복하라.

단순함과 믿음을 가지고 예수를 바라보라.

그대의 정신이 찬란한 빛속에 묻혀 희미해질 때까지 예수를 응시하라.

 

우리는 어중간한 기도를 해서는 안 되며 반신 반의 해서도 안 된다.

“구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실것이요”(눅 11:9).

서로 기도하며, 믿고, 강하게 하라.

이전에 결코 그렇게 기도해 본 적이 없는 태도로,

주께서 당신의 손을 그대에게 얹으사 지식에 넘치는 그리스도의 사랑을 알아

그 넓이와 길이와 높이와 깊이가 어떠함을 깨달아

하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 그대에게 충만하게 하시도록 기도하라.

 

 

 

 

 

He Will Supply Our Necessities

 

 

We do not understand as we should the great conflict going on between invisible agencies, the controversy between loyal and disloyal angels. Over every man, good and evil angels strive. This is no make-believe conflict. It is not mimic battles in which we are engaged. We have to meet most powerful adversaries, and it rests with us to determine which shall win. We are to find our strength where the early disciples found theirs. “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication.” “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.” Acts 1:14; 2:2, 4.

There is no excuse for defection or despondency, because all the promises of heavenly grace are for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. The intensity of desire represented by hungering and thirsting is a pledge that the coveted supply will be given.

Just as soon as we realize our inability to do God’s work and submit to be guided by His wisdom, the Lord can work with us. If we will empty the soul of self, He will supply all our necessities.

Place your mind and will where the Holy Spirit can reach them, for He will not work through another man’s mind and conscience to reach yours. With earnest prayer for wisdom, make the word of God your study. Take counsel of sanctified reason, surrendered wholly to God.

Look unto Jesus in simplicity and faith. Gaze upon Jesus until the spirit faints under the excess of light. We do not half pray. We do not half believe. “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Luke 11:9. Pray, believe, strengthen one another. Pray as you never before prayed that the Lord will lay His hand upon you, that you may be able to comprehend the length and breadth and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Testimony of Treasures 3, 193.
