진정한 회심으로 악으로 기우는, 선천적인 경향과 후천적인 경향은 변화된다.

 

하나님을 믿는 종교는 수많은 실로 구성되고 기지와 기술로 함께 짜여진 견고한 직물이다.

오직 하나님께로부터 온 지혜로 이 직물은 완전하게 만들어질 수 있다....

 

우리가 고려해야 할 문제는 우리에게 그리스도의 속성이 있는가이다.

핑계는 쓸모없다.

온갖 환경, 온갖 식욕과 정욕은 하나님을 두려워하는 사람의 종이 되어야지

지배자가 되어서는 안 된다.

 

그리스도인은 그 어떤 유전적이거나 길러진 습관 혹은 경향에 사로잡힌

노예가 되어서는 안 된다.

 

천사들은 그들의 도움이 가장 필요되는 곳에 항상 임재해 있다.

그들은 가장 힘겨운 싸움을 싸우는 자들,

기호와 유전된 성향들에 맞서서 싸우지 않으면 안 되는 자들,

가정 환경이 아주 낙담스런 자들과 함께 있다.

 

성경을 명확하게 이해함으로써 십자가를 바르게 보는 사람들,

예수를 참으로 믿는 사람들은 그들의 믿음을 쌓을 확실한 기초를 가지고 있다.

 

그들은 사랑으로 역사하며 모든 유전된 그리고 길러진 불완전함을

영혼에게서 정결케 하는 믿음을 가지고 있다.

🌻Aroma of Life | Conversion Changes Inherited Tendencies🌻

 

A genuine conversion changes hereditary and cultivated tendencies to wrong.

 

The religion of God is a firm fabric, composed of innumerable threads and woven together with tact and skill. Only the wisdom which comes from God can make this fabric complete....

 

The question for us to consider is, Have we the attributes of Christ? Excuses are valueless. All circumstances, all appetites and passions, are to be servants to the God-fearing man, not rulers over him.

 

The Christian is not to be enslaved by any hereditary or cultivated habits or tendency.

 

Angels are ever present where they are most needed. They are with those who have the hardest battles to fight, with those who must battle against inclination and hereditary tendencies, whose home surroundings are the most discouraging.

 

Those who through an intelligent understanding of the Scriptures view the cross aright, those who truly believe in Jesus, have a sure foundation for their faith.

 

They have that faith which works by love and purifies the soul from all its hereditary and cultivated imperfections.
