올바른 육체적 습관은 정신력을 탁월하게 만든다.

지적인 능력, 육체적인 힘, 그리고 장수는 불변의 법칙에 의존된다.

 

이 문제에 관하여는 우연이나 행운이 없다.

천연계의 하나님은 천연의 법을 범하는 결과에서 사람들을 보호하시기 위하여

간섭하시지 않으실 것이다.

 

“각자는 자기 운명의 설계자” 라는 금언에는 믿을 만한 진리가 있다.

 

부모는 자기 자녀들의 교육과 훈련은 물론 성품의 특질에 대하여 책임이 있는 반면에,

세상에서의 우리의 지위와 유용성은 우리 자신의 행동 노선에 크게 의존된다는 것도

여전히 사실이다.

 

다니엘과 그 동료들은 초기 생애에 받은 바른 훈련과 교육의 이점을 누렸다.

그러나 이 유리한 점 하나만으로 그와 같은 인물이 되지는 않았을 것이다.

 

그들이 스스로 행동해야 할 때가 왔다.

곧 그들의 장래가 자신들이 택하는 데 따르게 될 때가 왔다.

그 때 그들은 어린 시절에 받았던 교훈에 진실되리라고 결심하였다.

 

지혜의 근본이 되시는 하나님을 경외하는 것이 그들을 위대하게 만든 기초가 되었다.

그분의 영이 모든 참된 목적과 모든 고상한 결심을 강화시켰다.

🌻Aroma of Life | The Fear of God is the Foundation of Greatness🌻

 

Right physical habits promote mental superiority. Intellectual power, physical strength, and longevity depend upon immutable laws.

 

There is no happen-so, no chance, about this matter. Nature's God will not interfere to preserve men from the consequences of violating nature's laws.

 

There is much sterling truth in the adage, “Every man is the architect of his own fortune.”

 

While parents are responsible for the stamp of character, as well as for the education and training, of their sons and daughters, it is still true that our position and usefulness in the world depend, to a great degree, upon our own course of action.

 

Daniel and his companions enjoyed the benefits of correct training and education in early life, but these advantages alone would not have made them what they were.

 

The time came when they must act for themselves—when their future depended upon their own course. Then they decided to be true to the lessons given them in childhood.

 

The fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom, was the foundation of their greatness. His Spirit strengthened every true purpose, every noble resolution.
