타락한 인간은 하나님과 하나가 될 수 있음

“그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라

이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새것이 되었도다” (고후 5:17) 

하나님께서는 사람들이 죄에 대한 치료제를 받아들이고

그리스도의 은혜가 그들의 생애 속에서 역사하도록 허락함으로써 신의 성품에 참여 할 수 있도록

인류에게 그분의 독생하신 아들을 주셨다.… 

그들의 손이 미치는 곳에 놓인 신적 능력을 붙잡음으로써 타락한 인간들은 하나님과 하나가 될 수 있다.

영생은 그리스도께서 세상에게 주기 위하여 오셨던 그 축복이다.

은혜는 그리스도와 함께 넘친다. 그리고 그 구속주의 편에 서는 사람들은 새 피조물이 된다. 

품성에 있어서 그들은 하나님과 하나가 된다. 

사랑은 여기에 있나니! 하나님은 그분의 품성의 덕성들을 그분을 받아들이는 자들에게 놓으신다. 

그분의 무한한 희생을 통하여

그분은 인류를 사탄의 의지에 예속된 위치로부터 들어올리셔서 남녀들을 하늘 왕의 자녀로 삼으신다.… 

그리스도는 타락한 인류를 대신하여 고난당하기 위해 오셨다.

이는 어떤 존재도 그의 계획을 저지시킬 수 없으며,

이 세상에서 점 없는 생애를 살 수 없다고 사탄이 으스댔기 때문이다. 

Christ came to suffer on behalf of the fallen race,

for Satan made the boast

that no one could withstand his devising and in this world live a spotless life. 

구속주께서는 인간 본성을 옷 입으시고 인간이 당하는 모든 시험을 당하셨다.

그리고 그분은 모든 면에서 이기셨다.

그분의 생애의 기록이 세상에 주어져 있으므로

어떤 사람도 하나님의 은혜의 능력에 대하여 의심 가운데 있을 필요가 없다. 

그리스도인 품성을 온전케 하기 위하여 분투하는 모든 영혼에게

이 세상은 선과 악의 대쟁투가 벌어지는 전쟁터가 된다.

그리고 그리스도를 신뢰하는 모든 사람들은 그 승리를 얻을 것이다.

Fallen Humans Can Become one With God

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! 2 Corinthians 5:17

God gave His only begotten Son to the human race, that people might become partakers of the divine nature by accepting the remedy for sin and allowing the divine grace of Christ to work in their lives.... 

Fallen humans, by laying hold of the divine power brought within their reach, can become one with God. Everlasting life is the blessing that Christ came to give to the world. 

Grace abounds with Christ, and those who take their position on the side of the Redeemer become new creatures. 

In character they become one with God. Herein is love! God places the virtues of His character upon those who receive Him. Through His infinite sacrifice He lifts the human race from its position of slavery to the will of Satan and makes men and women sons and daughters of the heavenly King...

Christ came to suffer on behalf of the fallen race, for Satan made the boast that no one could withstand his devising and in this world live a spotless life. 

Clothed with human nature, the Redeemer subjected Himself to all the temptations with which human beings are beset; and He overcame on every point. 

The record of His life is given to the world, that no one need be in doubt as to the power of the grace of God. 

To every soul who strives for perfection of Christian character, this world becomes a battlefield on which is fought the controversy between good and evil. 

And everyone who trusts in Christ will gain the victory.
