이타적이 될수록 행복해진다

 그리스도께서는 하나님의 사랑을 나타내시려고 이 세상에 오셨다.

그를 따르는 자들은 그가 시작하신 일을 계속해야 한다.

우리는 피차 서로를 도와주고 격려해야 한다.

남의 유익을 구하는 것이 참된 행복을 찾을 수 있는 길이다.

사람은 하나님과 자기 동료 인간을 사랑함으로 인하여 자기 자신이 손해를 입는 것이 아니다. 

 인간의 정신이 이타적이 되면 될수록 그는 더욱 행복해진다.

그 까닭은 그가 인간에 대한 하나님의 목적을 성취하고 있기 때문이다.

하나님의 호흡이 그를 통해서 호흡되고 그에게 기쁨을 충만케 하신다.

그는 삶을 남에게 봉사하는 데 쓰도록 하나님께서 맡겨 주신 신성한 위탁물이며 귀한 것으로 보게 된다.

The More Unselfish, the Happier

Christ came to this world to reveal the love of God. His followers are to continue the work which He began.

Let us strive to help and strengthen one another. Seeking the good of others is the way in which true happiness can be found. Man does not work against his own interest by loving God and his fellow men.

 The more unselfish his spirit, the happier he is, because he is fulfilling God’s purpose for him. The breath of God is breathed through him, filling him with gladness.

To him life is a sacred trust, precious in his sight because given by God to be spent in ministering to others.
