하나님의 말씀은 생명의 샘

하나님의 말씀은 생명의 샘이다.

그 생명의 샘을 찾으려고 노력할 때, 그대는 성령을 통하여 그리스도와 교통을 나누게 된다.

잘 아는 진리가 새로운 측면에서 그대의 마음속에 제시되고,

성경의 구절들이 새로운 의미를 가지고 섬광처럼 마음속에서 작열할 것이다.
그리하면 그대는 성경의 다른 진리들이 구속 사업과 갖는 관계도 깨닫게 되고,

또 그리스도께서 그대를 인도하시며 거룩한 선생이 그대 곁에 계신 것도 알게 될 것이다.

예수께서는 “나의 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라”(요한복음 4장 14절)고

말씀하셨다.

성령께서 그대에게 진리를 제시해 줄 때, 그대는 가장 가치 있는 경험을 쌓게 될 것이며,

그대에게 계시된 위로되는 것들을 다른 사람에게 알려 주고자 갈망하게 될 것이다.

그들과 교제하게 될 때, 그대는 그리스도의 품성이나 사업에 관한 어떤 새로운 사상을 전하게 될 것이다.

그리고 또, 그리스도를 사랑하는 자들과 사랑하지 않는 자들 모두에게 나누어 줄 수 있는

그분의 자비로운 사랑에 대한 새로운 계시를 갖게 될 것이다.

The Words of God are the Wellsprings of Life

The words of God are the wellsprings of life.

As you seek unto those living springs you will, through the Holy Spirit,

be brought into communion with Christ.

Familiar truths will present themselves to your mind in a new aspect,

texts of Scripture will burst upon you with a new meaning as a flash of light,

you will see the relation of other truths to the work of redemption,

and you will know that Christ is leading you, a divine Teacher is at your side.

Jesus said, “The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing

up into everlasting life.” - John 4:14.

As the Holy Spirit opens to you the truth

you will treasure up the most precious experiences

and will long to speak to others of the comforting things that have been revealed to you.

When brought into association with them you will communicate some fresh thought

in regard to the character or the work of Christ.

You will have some fresh revelation of His pitying love to impart

to those who love Him and to those who love Him not.
