어둠 저편을 보라

 

 

 

 

주님께서 살아 계신다. 그분은 부활하셨다, 그분은 부활하셨다, 그분은 영원히 살아 계신다.

 

그대가 짐을 지고 간다고 생각하지 말라.

 

그대가 멍에를 메고 있다는 것은 사실이지만 누구와 협력하여 멍에를 메고 있는가? 

 

 

다른 이가 아닌 바로 그대의 구주시다. 

 

 

 

사단은 그의 지독한 어둠을 그대의 앞길에 던질 것이다. 그대는 아무것도 기대할 수 없을 것이다.

 

 

그러나 그는 그 동일한 어둠을 그리스도의 앞길에도 가로질러 놓았다.

 

 

이제 그대가 할 수 있는 일은 어둠 저편의 그리스도의 광명을 보는 것뿐이다. …

 

 

좌절을 보지 말라. 예수님이 얼마나 귀하신지를 생각하라. 

 

 

 

 

빛을 바라보라 — 나는 나의 마음이 어두운 면에 머무는 것을 용납하지 않을 것이다.

 

 

 

예수님은 나를 위한 빛과 위로와 희망과 기쁨을 가지셨다.

 

 

의의 태양의 광채가 내 마음에 비취고 다른 이들에게 반사되도록 나는 빛을 바라보기를 원한다. 

 

 

빛을 비추는 것-그리스도께서 나누어 주신 은혜의 빛을 널리 비추는 것은 모든 그리스도인의 의무이다.

 

 

나의 고통 중에서도 하나님은 나를 소유하실 것이므로

 

 

그분이 나와 함께 하신다는 사실을 내가 인식하고 있음을 보여 주며 그분을 찬양하라

  Look Beyond the Shadows

 

 

 Jesus lives; he has risen, he has risen, he is alive forevermore. Do not feel that you carry the load. It is true you wear the yoke, but whom are you yoked up with?—No less a personage than your Redeemer. 

Satan will cast his hellish shadow athwart your pathway; you cannot expect anything else; but he cast the same dark shadow athwart the pathway of Christ. Now all you have to do is to look beyond the shadow to the brightness of Christ.... Do not look at the discouragements; think of how precious is Jesus.

Face the Light—I will not allow my mind to dwell on the dark side. Jesus has light and comfort and hope and joy for me. I want to face the light, that the brightness of the Sun of Righteousness may shine into my heart, and be reflected to others. 

It is the duty of every Christian to shine—to shed abroad the light of the grace that Christ imparts. God would have me, even in my pain, praise Him, showing that I realize that his presence is with me. (Romans 5:1; 1 John 5:11 quoted.)
