Rest a Result of Self-surrender

 

Rest is found

when all self-justification, all reasoning from a selfish standpoint, is put away.

 

안식은 모든 자기 합리화와 이기적 견지에서 하는 모든 추론을 버릴 때 찾아온다.

 

Entire self-surrender, an acceptance of His ways,

is the secret of perfect rest in His love....

 

전적인 자기 포기와 그분의 길을 수용하는 것은 그분의 사랑 안에서 완전한 안식을 누리는 비결이다...

 

Do just what He has told you to do

and be assured that God will do all that He has said He would do....

 

그분께서 그대에게 하라고 말씀하신 일을 행하고

하나님께서 하시겠다고 말씀하신 모든 것을 그분께서 하실 것이라고 확신하라...

 

Have you come to Him,

renouncing all your makeshifts, all your unbelief, all your self-righteousness?

Come just as you are, weak, helpless, and ready to die.
