?생명의 향기 | 염려를 하나님께 맡기고 침착하고 기쁜 가운데 있으라?
그대들은 업무에 있어서 번민을 당할 수도 있고
전망이 점점 더 암담해지고 손실의 위협을 받을 수도 있다.
그러나 낙담하지 말라.
그대의 염려를 하나님께 맡기고 침착하고 기쁜 가운데 있으라.
그리고 사건들을 신중히 처리할 지혜를 얻기 위하여
기도함으로 손해와 재난(災難)을 면하게 하라.
좋은 결과를 내기 위하여 그대로서 할 최선을 다하라.
예수께서는 우리를 도우시겠다고 허락하셨으나 이것은 우리의 노력이 없이도 될 것은 아니다.
그대들이 그대들을 도우시는 하나님을 의지하고 그대들의 할 수 있는 것을 다한 다음에는
그 결과가 좋든지 나쁘든지 달게 받아들이라.
당신의 백성이 근심에 눌리는 것이 하나님의 뜻이 아니다.
그러나 우리 주께서는 우리를 속이지 아니하신다.
그는 "너의 앞길에는 위험이 없으니 두려워 말라"고 말씀하시지 않으신다.
그는 시련과 위험이 있음을 아시고 우리에게 대한 처리를 솔직하게 하신다.
그는 당신의 백성을 죄악 세상에서 떠나게 하시려는 것이 아니고
저들에게 절대 실족함이 없는 피난처를 가리켜 주신다.
당신의 제자들을 위한 당신의 기도는
아버지께서 "저희를 세상에서 데려가시기 위함이 아니요
오직 악에 빠지지 않게 보전하시기를 위함이니이다"(요 17:15)라는 것이었다.
그는 또 말씀하시기를
"세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라"(요 16:33)고 하셨다.

?Aroma of Life | Cast Your Care Upon God, and Remain Calm and Cheerful?
You may be perplexed in business; your prospects may grow darker and darker, and you may be threatened with loss; but do not become discouraged; cast your care upon God, and remain calm and cheerful.
Pray for wisdom to manage your affairs with discretion, and thus prevent loss and disaster.
Do all you can on your part to bring about favorable results. Jesus has promised His aid, but not apart from our effort.
When, relying upon our Helper, you have done all you can, accept the result cheerfully.
It is not the will of God that His people should be weighed down with care. But our Lord does not deceive us.
He does not say to us, “Do not fear; there are no dangers in your path.” He knows there are trials and dangers, and He deals with us plainly.
He does not propose to take His people out of a world of sin and evil, but He points them to a never-failing refuge.
His prayer for His disciples was, “I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”
“In the world,” He says, “ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 17:15; 16:33.
