?생명의 향기 | 기도는 위대한 승리를 가져온다?

 

하나님의 사업을 위한 가장 큰 승리는

유력한 토론이나 방대한 시설이나 큰 세력이나 또는 풍부한 자금으로 인해 얻어지는 것이 아니요

골방에서 친히 하나님께 나아가 열성과 간절한 믿음으로 그 전능하신 팔을 의지함으로 얻어진다....

 

"세상을 이긴 이김은 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라"(요일 5:4).

여러 가지 근심 걱정에 둘러싸여 있는 현재를 넘어서

복잡한 어려운 모든 문제가 다 해결될 장래를 내다보게 하는 것은 곧 믿음이다.

 

믿음은 하나님 우편에 우리의 중보자로 서 계신 예수님을 보게 하며,

또한 그리스도께서 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 예비하러 가신 집을 보게 한다.

 

믿음은 이기는 자를 위하여 예비하여 놓으신 예복과 면류관을 보게 하며,

구속함을 받은 자들의 노랫소리를 듣게 한다.

“This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith,” [1 John 5:4.]

It is faith that enables us to look beyond the present, with its burdens and cares, to the great hereafter, where all that now perplexes us shall be made plain.

 

Faith sees Jesus standing as our Mediator at the right hand of God. Faith beholds the mansions that Christ has gone to prepare for those who love Him.

 

Faith sees the robe and crown prepared for the overcomer, and hears the song of the redeemed.
