?생명의 향기 | 바른 것이 그릇된 것을 쫓아냄?

 

부모들이여, 자녀들의 마음이 고결한 사상으로 채워질지

아니면 사악한 생각들로 채워질지를 결정짓는 것은 바로 그대들 자신이다. 

 

그대들은 그들의 활동적인 정신을 어떤 일에 몰두하지 않게 만들어 놓을 수 없을 뿐 아니라

찡그린 얼굴로 악을 쫓아 버릴 수도 없다. 

 

오직 바른 원칙으로 차근차근 타이름으로써만 그릇된 생각들을 쫓아낼 수 있다. 

 

부모들이 자녀들의 마음속에 진리의 씨를 심지 않는 한 원수는 반드시 가라지를 심을 것이다. 

 

오직 선하고 확고한 교훈만이 선한 행실을 더럽히는 악한 의사소통을 예방할 수 있다. 

 

진리는 마주치지 않을 수 없는 끝없는 유혹에서 영혼을 보호해 줄 것이다.

Parents, you are the ones to decide whether the minds of your children shall be filled with ennobling thoughts or with vicious sentiments. 

 

You cannot keep their active minds unoccupied, neither can you frown away evil. 

 

Only by the inculcation of right principles can you exclude wrong thoughts. 

 

Unless parents plant the seeds of truth in the hearts of their children, the enemy will sow tares. 

 

Good, sound instruction is the only preventive of the evil communications that corrupt good manners. 

 

Truth will protect the soul from the endless temptations that must be encountered.
