기도와 찬송

?생명의 향기 | 기도와 찬송 ?

 

열렬하게 쉬지 말고 기도하고 기도하라.
그러나, 찬송하기를 잊지 말라.

하나님의 모든 자녀들은 하나님의 품성이 어떠함을 증거해야 한다.
그대는 주님을 찬미할 수 있으며, 붙들어 주시는 은혜의 능력을 보여 줄 수 있다.

하나님의 위대한 사랑도, 예수님의 거룩한 자비도 감사하지 못하는 자들이 많이 있다.
수많은 사람들이 구원의 계획에 나타난 비할 데 없는 은혜를 멸시하기까지 한다.

이 위대한 구원에 동참한 모든 사람들도 이 문제에 있어서 애매하다.

그들은 감사하는 마음을 배양하지 않는다.
그러나, 구속(救贖)의 주제는 천사들도 알아보기를 원하는 것이다.

그것은 무궁한 세월을 통하여 속량받은 자들의 과학과 노래가 될 것이다.

그것은 지금 주의 깊이 생각하고 연구할 가치가 있지 않는가?

우리는 마음과 심령과 음성을 합하여
“여호와의 인자하심과 인생에게 행하신 기이한 일을 인하여”

하나님을 찬송하는 것이 마땅하지 않겠는가?
(시 107:8)....

교회가 빛 가운데서 걸어가는 곳에는
언제나 진심에서 우러나온 즐거운 반응과
기쁨에 넘치는 찬양의 말이 있게 될 것이다.

하늘과 땅의 창조주이신 우리 하나님께서는
“찬송을 드리는 자가 나를 영화롭게” 한다고 말씀하신다.

온 하늘은 하나님을 찬양하는 일에 연합한다.
천사들이 노래하는 대열에 속할 때 우리는 그 노래를 부를 수 있도록

지금 곧 그들의 노래를 배우도록 하자.

우리는 시편 기자처럼

“나의 생전에 여호와를 찬양하며 나의 평생에 내 하나님을 찬송하리로다”
“하나님이여 민족들로 주를 찬송케 하시며 모든 민족으로 주를 찬송케 하소서”

라고 말하자 (시 146:2, 67:3).

?Aroma of Life I Prayer and Praise ?

Pray, pray earnestly and without ceasing,
but do not forget to praise.
It becomes every child of God to vindicate His character.
You can magnify the Lord;
you can show the power of sustaining grace.

There are multitudes who do not appreciate the great love of God
nor the divine compassion of Jesus.
Thousands even regard with disdain the matchless grace shown in the plan of redemption.
All who are partakers of this great salvation are not clear in this matter.
They do not cultivate grateful hearts.

But the theme of redemption is one that the angels desire to look into;
it will be the science and the song of the ransomed throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.

Is it not worthy of careful thought and study now? Should we not praise God with heart and soul and voice "for His wonderful works to the children of men"? Psalm 107:8.

Where the church is walking in the light,
there will ever be cheerful, hearty responses
and words of joyful praise.

Our God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, declares:
"Whoso offereth praise glorifieth Me."
All heaven unite in praising God.
Let us learn the song of the angels now, that we may sing it when we join their shining ranks.

Let us say with the psalmist:
"While I live will I praise the Lord:
I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being."
"Let the people praise Thee, O God;
let all the people praise Thee." Psalm 146:2; 67:3.
