?생명의 향기 | 실수한 자들에 대한 태도 ?

우리는 다른 사람들을 정죄하지 말아야 한다.
그것은 우리가 할일이 아니다.
우리는 서로 사랑하고 서로 기도해야 한다.
어떤 사람이 진리에서 벗어난 것을 볼 때,

우리는 마치 예수님께서 예루살렘을 위하여 우신 것처럼

그를 위하여 울어야 한다.

하늘에 계신 아버지께서 실수한 자들에 관하여

당신의 말씀을 통하여 어떻게 말씀하고 계시는지 알아보자.

“형제들아 사람이 만일 무슨 범죄한 일이 드러나거든

신령한 너희는 온유한 심령으로 그러한 자를 바로잡고

네 자신을 돌아보아 너도 시험을 받을까 두려워하라”(갈 6:1).

“너희 중에 미혹하여 진리를 떠난 자를 누가 돌아서게 하면

너희가 알 것은

죄인을 미혹한 길에서 돌아서게 하는 자가

그 영혼을 사망에서 구원하여 허다한 죄를 덮을 것이니라”(약 5:19, 20).

이것은 얼마나 큰 선교 사업인가!
이것은 가련하고 실수하기 쉬운 인간들이 그들의 마음에 꼭 맞지 않는 자들을

언제나 비난받고 정죄받을 대상으로 여겨 오는 것보다

얼마나 그리스도와 같아지는 길인가.

예수님께서 우리들을 개인적으로 아시며,

우리의 연약함에 공감하신다는 것을 기억하라.

그분께서는 모든 피조물들의 필요를 아시며,

모든 사람의 마음속에 숨겨진 채 표현되지 않은 슬픔을 읽으신다.

그분께서 위하여 돌아가신 작은 자들 중 하나가 손해를 입으면,

그분께서는 그것을 보시고 가해자에게 책임을 추궁하신다.

예수님은 선한 목자이시다.
그분은 연약하고 병들고 길을 잃고 방황하는 양들을 돌보신다.

그분은 그들을 모두 이름까지 아신다.
그분의 양 무리에 속한 모든 양들과 어린 양들의 고통은

그분의 자비로운 사랑의 마음에 전달되며,

도움을 요청하는 부르짖음은 그분의 귀에 들려진다....

예수님은 마치 이 지상에 다른 사람이 전혀 없는 것처럼 각 사람을 돌보신다.

그분께서는 우리의 맏형님으로서 우리의 모든 불행을 동정하시는 한편,

하나님으로서 당신의 강한 능력을 우리를 위하여 발휘하신다.

?Aroma of Life I Dealing with the Erring ?

We are not to condemn others;
this is not our work; but we should love one another and pray for one another.
When we see one err from the truth,
then we may weep over him as Christ wept over Jerusalem.

Let us see what our heavenly Father in His word says about the erring:
"If a man be  overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." Galatians 6:1.

"If any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." James 5:19, 20.

What a great missionary work is this!
How much more Christlike than for poor, fallible mortals to be ever accusing and condemning those who do not exactly meet their minds.
Let us remember that Jesus knows us individually and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

He knows the wants of each of His creatures and reads the hidden, unspoken grief of every heart.
If one of the little ones for whom He died is injured, He sees it and calls the offender to account.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd.
He cares for His feeble, sickly, wandering sheep. He knows them all by name.
The distress of every sheep and every lamb of His flock touches His heart of sympathizing love,
and the cry for aid reaches His ear....

Jesus cares for each one as though there were not another individual on the face of the earth.
As Deity He exerts mighty power in our behalf, while as our Elder Brother He feels for all our woes.
